YARTAPUULTI will welcome livewires Junior Rioli and Lachie Jones back into the fold as it prepares to test its wares against Richmond at the MCG this Sunday.

Rioli re-joins the side after serving a two-match suspension for striking Essendon's Jordan Ridley in Round 8, while Jones is set for his first appearance at AFL level since Round 3.

Fittingly, both First Nations stars return for the second week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round celebrations, as the club continues its use of the translation in language to the Yartapuulti Football Club and sports the striking guernsey designed by Peter Burgoyne for consecutive games.

Coming out of the side is captain Tom Jonas, who must serve a one-match ban after being cited for a dangerous tackle against Narrm, while former skipper Travis Boak was withdrawn from the side late Friday afternoon after reporting soreness following a heavy knock in the same match that forced him to be subbed from the game.

Young small forward Francis Evans has also been omitted, but named amongst the four emergencies that could be in line to be the sub against the Tigers.

Joining the former Cat is ruckman Brynn Teakle, defender Jase Burgoyne and young midfielder Hugh Jackson, who could make his AFL debut if selected.

Emergencies who are not required on Sunday will be allowed to play in Saturday’s SANFL match against North Adelaide at Prospect Oval. 

Sunday’s game against Richmond gets underway at 12:40pm ACST at the MCG.

Travelling supporters are invited to the club's post-match function in the Yarra Park Room (Level 3 Shane Warne Stand) for a cash bar and player interviews.

Access from the PAFC Supporter Area in the Ponsford Stand is via the Shane Warne Stand. Supporters can walk through the AFL Members Area (entry via MCC Members is not permitted) and use the stairs or take lifts 9/10/11 to Level 3.
