Legacy is Port Adelaide’s official charity partner for the Power-v-Eagles clash at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
The charity provides care and support services to the families of Australian servicemen and women, suffering after the injury or death of their loved ones.
Since its establishment in 1923, Legacy has helped over 100,000 people and stands ready to support the next generation of Australians who continue to serve overseas.
At the present moment the award-winning charity currently cares for around 80,000 widows and 1,800 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.
These support services includes providing 300 mobility devices for the disabled, running 3,000 care programs for socially-isolated widows, taking 450 children on holiday camps and making 40,000 home calls to elderly widows.
Volunteers will be collecting monetary donations outside the gates at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
