FORWARD Brett Ebert has accepted a reprimand for striking Brisbane’s Daniel Rich during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s clash at AAMI Stadium.
The match review panel assessed the incident as reckless, low impact and high contact, which drew 125 demerit points and a one match ban.
Ebert elected to accept the reprimand with an early guilty plea.
With a five-year good behaviour record, the penalty was reduced to just 70 points and a reprimand.
Ebert is now free to play against Richmond along with midfielder Hamish Hartlett who will return from a two-week suspension.
