PORT ADELAIDE forward Willie Rioli could miss the club’s games against the Crows and Geelong after being offered a two-match ban by the AFL’s Match Review Officer.

Rioli was charged with striking Collingwood’s Nathan Murphy in the last quarter of Saturday night’s narrow loss at Adelaide Oval.

The MRO deemed the strike to be intentional high contact with medium impact.

The base sanction is a two-game ban and Rioli isn’t able to receive any downgrade with an early guilty plea.

The club will consider whether to accept the penalty overnight.
