While Port enters the match with the same lineup that defeated Brisbane last week, the Crows have made five changes.
But Rehn says the inclusion of experienced senior players Patrick Dangerfield and Ben Rutten will bolster Adelaide and is expecting the typical pressure a Showdown brings.
“We understand Adelaide has got a couple of injuries as well (but) we’re anticipating Patty Dangerfield coming back in and Rutten," said Rehn.
“Aside from that it’s going to be a Showdown as per normal.”
Rehn says Port Adelaide has learned to embrace and use public expectation to its advantage under the leadership of senior coach Ken Hinkley.
While Port enters Balfours Showdown XXXV with slightly shorter odds, he said Port would only get a result if its young side brought the same attitude to this match as it has done throughout the year.
“The discussion is about how we want to play the game,” he said.
“We understand it’s a Showdown, but we have to get our behaviours right in the way we play the game to be able to get the result.
“That’s been the mantra all the way.”
Port Adelaide takes on the Crows at AAMI Stadium on Sunday afternoon at 2:45pm local time.
