FOUR QUARTERS

THE STAKES
The two clubs could not be closer at this stage of the season - Port Adelaide ninth on the ladder and Geelong tenth - both sides are on five wins and five losses. With the bye rounds starting this weekend, a win is crucial to keep in touch with the teams in the top eight, while a loss could see either team drop as low as 13th.

THE STOCKS
Port Adelaide has the luxury of an almost non-existent injury list, with Paddy Ryder looking to prove his fitness this week and a number of players in the SANFL pushing for selection. On the other hand, Geelong have a few players under injury clouds and could be forced to make a few changes to the team that defeated Essendon by 69 points.

THE HISTORY
Geelong are well and truly one of Port Adelaide’s bogey sides, winning 10 out of the last 11 games that the two have played. In the one match they played last year, Port Adelaide dominated the game and defeated Geelong by 40 points.

THE VIBE
Port Adelaide is on a good run and can make it three wins in a row this weekend. Need to take control of the game early to resist undoing their good work over the last fortnight and dropping back down the ladder.

THE DOODLE
We're all over Power fan Zak's suggestion for our game marketing material this week. The retro Shayne Breuer theme is particularly strong...
