PORT Adelaide supporters have voted Chad Wingard as their player of the season.

Wingard narrowly edged out skipper Travis Boak to win the Renault Supporters’ Player of the Year Award by just two votes.

The 20-year-old’s consistency was noticed by the Power’s true believes, with the All-Australian half-forward polling votes in 11 of the Power’s 22 games in 2013.

The Renault Supporters' Player of the Year Award is voted by the club's supporters on a 3-2-1 basis after each game on portadelaidefc.com.au, with more than 25,000 votes cast over the course of the year.

The three players who receive the highest number of votes for any given round are then awarded 3, 2 and 1 votes towards the overall leaderboard. Voting was only open for the home and away season.
