PORT Adelaide has named a 26-player team for its pre-season AAMI Community Series match against Fremantle this Friday night.
The game will adhere to standard AFL match conditions, aside from clubs being able to utilise an extended, eight-player bench.
Selectors opted to leave Sam Powell-Pepper out of the side, with the forward preparing to serve a four-match suspension from the start of the official AFL premiership season.
Young tall Ollie Lord and small forward Francis Evans have been named on the interchange, as well as Jackson Mead and Jase Burgoyne, who have both impressed throughout pre-season.
New recruits Brandon Zerk-Thatcher, Esava Ratugolea, Jordon Sweet and Ivan Soldo have all been selected, while Willem Drew and Todd Marshall will both return from injury.
Jeremy Finlayson, Trent McKenzie, Tom Clurey and Mitch Georgiades, who is almost 10-months post-ACL surgery, have been named in the emergency group.
The Alberton Oval gates will open from 6pm ACDT, with the first bounce at 7:30pm ACDT.
Friday’s game is a ticketed event. Click here to find out how to access the game either as a member, or by purchasing a general admission ticket.
