A BRONZE sculpture of Port Adelaide and Australian football champion Russell Ebert will be unveiled in the eastern plaza of the Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternooon.
Donated by philanthropist Basil Sellers as one of four statues commemorating legends of South Australian football, the Ebert statue will stand tall on the eastern side of the Adelaide Oval for Port Adelaide supporters to salute as they enter the oval on game days for the club.
The sculpture has been created by local artist Tim Thomson and will have the covers pulled off at 2:45pm.
Port Adelaide's game against the Giants commences at 4:10pm.
