RUCKMAN Ivan Soldo will miss a period of football with a knee issue.

Soldo reported pain in his left knee following Saturday’s game at the MCG, with scans since showing he has irritated an old lateral meniscus injury.

To address the issue and accelerate his return, the 28-year-old will undergo an arthroscopy to tidy up the meniscus over the coming days, with a timeline for return to be clearer following the procedure.

Port Adelaide’s team for Friday’s game against St Kilda will be announced at 5:50pm ACST on Thursday.
