PORT ADELAIDE has brought in two veterans among three changes to its line-up for Friday night’s Anzac Appeal Round match against St Kilda.
Travis Boak and Charlie Dixon each return to the side, in what will be vice-captain Zak Butters' 100th AFL game.
Boak has missed the past two matches with a back issue while Dixon was rested for the trip to the MCG to face Collingwood last week.
Dylan Williams’ strong SANFL form has been rewarded and he comes in for just his second game of the season. The 22-year-old last featured in the Round 3 win over Richmond at the MCG.
Ryan Burton and Jed McEntee have each been omitted and will feature in the SANFL for the Magpies while Ivan Soldo will have minor knee surgery and miss a period of football.
Tom Clurey, Francis Evans and Dante Visentini have been named as emergencies, while the tactical sub will be announced an hour before Friday night’s game gets underway from among the five players named on the interchange bench.
First bounce at Adelaide Oval is at 7:10pm ACST. Tickets are still available for the match.
Fans are encouraged to get to the ground early to take in the curtain raiser involving the ADF All-Stars and the Australian Combined Emergency Services, which starts at 4:50pm.
