Ollie Lord and Tom McCallum will play their first games of the season when Port Adelaide hosts North Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Saturday.
Forward Lord has been included for his first game since suffering bone bruising and an impaction fracture to his leg during pre-season while McCallum underwent off-season ankle surgery and is back for his first game since last season’s Elimination Final.
Lord had been close to playing last week but was not able to prove his fitness in time.
Dylan Williams has also been included in a welcome addition to the backline.
Former Roosters Preston Cockatoo-Collins, who made his league debut for the club against Woodville-West Torrens in Round 3, and Josh Byrne have been named to face their old side along with Reed Stevens, who returns after missing last week’s game with a calf injury.
Going out of the team that lost to Adelaide last Thursday are Francis Evans, Jeremy Finlayson, Josh Sinn and Dante Visentini who have each been promoted to the AFL side, captain Nick Moore who has a leg injury, and fellow SANFL contracted players Oliver Cheesman and Dustin Launer.
Father-son prospect Ky Burgoyne has held his spot in the side after making his league debut in last week’s SANFL Showdown.
First bounce at Alberton Oval is at 2:10pm.
