PORT ADELAIDE has made four changes to its final team for Sunday’s trip to Sydney, headlined by the return of captain Connor Rozee.
Rozee has experienced an injury-interrupted season, but has now recovered from an ankle sprain and will be back to take the reins against GWS.
Ollie Lord will make his long-awaited AFL comeback following a leg injury, with the young forward producing promising performances since returning to the SANFL over the past month.
Mid-forward Quinton Narkle has also been recalled after recovering from a foot injury, with the 2023 mid-season draftee last featuring at AFL level in Round 17 last year.
Dylan Williams takes the place of Lachie Jones who has been omitted from the team, while Ryan Burton has been sidelined by a foot injury.
Charlie Dixon and Jeremy Finlayson both come out of the side and will line up in the SANFL this Saturday against West Adelaide at Alberton.
Jones has been named an emergency alongside Dante Visentini and first-year player Will Lorenz.
Williams, Narkle, Ollie Wines, Francis Evans and Jackson Mead have all been named on the bench, with the tactical substitute to be chosen from the interchange and announced one hour before the bounce.
Sunday’s game against the Giants will take place at ENGIE Stadium from 3:30pm ACST / 4pm AEST.
