WILLIE RIOLI is one of four additions to Port Adelaide’s 23 for Saturday night’s game against Richmond, following a standout performance in the SANFL last weekend.
Rioli has had an unlucky run since the bye, sustaining a calf strain against North Melbourne, then dealing with illness and personal issues upon return from injury.
The electric forward made his case for AFL selection in the Magpies’ win over Glenelg on Saturday, with three goals, six tackles and four clearances.
Esava Ratugolea has also been named after an outstanding return from injury on the weekend, being named among the coach’s best in the SANFL.
Dylan Williams has been enjoying a strong run of form, earning himself an AFL recall, while Mitch Georgiades comes straight back in after a week off with suspension.
Charlie Dixon will make his 150th appearance in Power colours, with Quinton Narkle to play his 50th AFL game.
Williams and Narkle have been named on the interchange alongside Jase Burgoyne, Francis Evans and Jackson Mead, with the tactical substitute to be selected from the bench and revealed one hour before the bounce.
Port Adelaide last played Richmond in Round 2 at the MCG, celebrating Travis Boak’s 350th AFL game with a 30-point victory.
Saturday’s game against the Tigers will begin at 7pm ACST at Adelaide Oval, with gates open from 5pm. Kids 14 and under go free to the footy! See more information, including how to redeem tickets, here.
