Port Adelaide will take an unchanged side into this weekend’s game against ladder-leaders Sydney at Adelaide Oval.

Saturday’s huge clash marks Aliir Aliir’s 150th AFL game, coincidentally against his former club, from which he joined the Power during the 2020 trade period.

Aliir has been an integral cog in Port Adelaide’s backline across the last four seasons, being named All-Australian in 2021.

Todd Marshall successfully rejoined full training on Wednesday, with the medical team opting to give him another week of full training before returning to play, following a hip injury.

Club veteran Travis Boak, who turned 36 on Thursday, is set to play his 365th AFL game, surpassing Brad Johnson to be in sole 13th position on the VFL/AFL games played list.

Young defender Lachie Jones will mark a milestone of his own, with the boy from Bute reaching his 50th AFL game, while Ken Hinkley will reach a combined 400 games as a player and coach (132 as a player, 267 as coach).

Kane Farrell, Francis Evans, Lachie Jones, Quinton Narkle and Jackson Mead have been named on the interchange, with the tactical substitute to be selected from the bench and revealed one hour before the bounce.

Port Adelaide last played the Swans in Round 4 last year at the SCG, with Aliir executing a game-saving spoil on the goal line after the siren, to clinch a two-point win for the Power.

Saturday night’s game begins at 7pm ACST, with Adelaide Oval gates open from 5pm. Tickets are still available for the match.
