PORT ADELAIDE captain Janelle Cuthbertson will undergo surgery this week following the season-ending knee injury she suffered in Friday night’s win over the Western Bulldogs.
Cuthbertson came from the ground after landing awkwardly in a marking contest early in the third quarter.
Weekend scans confirmed she had ruptured the ACL and suffered a partial MCL tear in her left knee.
There were no other injury concerns to emerge from the win over the Dogs.
Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side to face Fremantle at Alberton Oval on Saturday.
That game gets underway at 4:05pm ACST. Tickets are just $15 with kids getting in for free.
If you can’t get to Alberton on Saturday, Port Adelaide’s clash with the Dockers will be broadcast live on 7Mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.
