PORT ADELAIDE’S selectors will be forced into making at least one change to the line-up for Friday night’s Preliminary Final against Sydney.

With Todd Marshall working through the AFL’s concussion protocols after a head knock in the Semi Final win over Hawthorn, fellow forward Charlie Dixon is his most likely replacement.

Dixon was forced to withdraw from the side which beat the Hawks after feeling unwell and being unable to pass a pre-game fitness test.

Ollie Lord and Dante Visentini have each shown they can also play a forward role at the level if called upon.

Lord’s last AFL game was the Round 20 win over Richmond, in which he kicked a goal and laid four tackles, while Visentini – though primarily a ruckman – played as a forward as recently as in Round 24.

After missing the Semi-Final win with a calf injury, defender Ryan Burton has trained well and shown he is available to resume.

Defender Dylan Williams, ruck Ivan Soldo and forward Jed McEntee are others in the frame for selection.

Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side for the clash with the Swans.

Friday night’s game at the Sydney Cricket Ground gets underway at 7:40pm AEST / 7:10pm ACST.

If you can’t get to Sydney, the game will be broadcast on the super screens at Alberton Oval as part of a live site where you can watch both the Preliminary Final and the AFLW game between Port Adelaide and North Melbourne Tasmania from 4:35pm.

Plenty of food and drink options will be available around Alberton, and the Port Store will be open late.

The Precinct at Alberton is fully booked for dinner, but bookings are still available for lunch.
