PORT ADELAIDE has informed Tom McCallum that he will not be offered a contract for 2025.
The young defender was taken at pick 36 in the 2022 AFL Draft after impressing at the under 18 national championships with the Allies.
Despite his injury battles, the Tasmanian product managed 30 SANFL games over the past two seasons, averaging 10 disposals.
“We thank Tom for his contribution to the club over the past two years,” Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps said.
“He has dealt with some injury challenges over his time at the club but has shown patience and resilience.
“We wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career.”
McCallum’s departure follows the retirements of Charlie Dixon and Trent McKenzie earlier this week.
Port Adelaide has made no further list changes at this time and will continue discussions with uncontracted players and their managers over the coming weeks.
The AFL Trade Period will begin on Monday, October 7, and runs until Wednesday, October 16.
