A KNEE injury will keep forward Julia Teakle out of Friday night’s AFLW game against St Kilda.
Teakle hurt her right knee after landing awkwardly in the third quarter of last week’s win over Collingwood and was not able to return to the field.
Scans have cleared her of any ligament damage, but the 21-year-old has undergone an arthroscopy.
She will resume running as her recovery allows and there is optimism she will be able to return to the field later in the season.
There were no other injury concerns reported following Thursday’s eight-point win over the Magpies.
Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side to face St Kilda at Alberton Oval.
The game will be Ebony O’Dea’s 50th at AFLW level.
That game gets underway at 7:15pm ACST with gates open from 5:45pm. More information is available from our AFLW Game Day Hub.
Tickets are just $15 for adults with free entry for children under 18.
If you can’t get to Alberton to watch the game, it will be broadcast live on 7Mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.
