Port Adelaide has added firepower to its extended side for Sunday’s Elimination Final, with the Power preparing to feature in its first AFLW finals campaign.

Fresh from being named in the AFL Players’ Association 22under22 squad on Wednesday, talented trio Abbey Dowrick, Matilda Scholz and Julia Teakle are all poised to return from injury, while young defender Alissa Brook has also been added.

Dowrick (soreness) and Scholz (calf) missed Sunday’s last gasp win over GWS, while Teakle has been sidelined for the last three matches with a knee injury.

Jo Miller comes out of the side, while Piper Window, Caitlin Wendland, Jasmin Stewart, Olivia Levicki, Sachi Syme, Alissa Brook, Maddy Keryk and Katelyn Pope have been named on the extended eight-player bench.

This will be the second time the Power has taken on Richmond this season, with the two teams last facing off in Round 5 at Ikon Park.

It was Port Adelaide’s last loss before going on a six-game winning streak, with the young group learning some valuable lessons from the previous meeting.

Port Adelaide will name its final team on Friday at 4:30pm ACDT for the clash at Alberton Oval on Sunday.

Be part of the historic finals campaign by purchasing tickets for just $15 for adults, while kids under 18 can attend for free.

First bounce on Sunday is at 2:35pm, with gates opening from 1:05pm. More information is available at the AFLW Game Day Hub.
