Port Adelaide will launch into the 2025 AFL season with the club’s home fixture featuring four Saturday twilight clashes and a huge Saturday night Showdown at Adelaide Oval.
The AFL has confirmed the schedule for the first 15 rounds, with Rounds 16 to 24 currently floating fixtures, with days and times to be confirmed later in the year.
Saturday twilight games provide families with children greater accessibility, with the Power taking on Richmond, North Melbourne, Geelong and Sydney from 3:45pm.
Port Adelaide will also host two Sunday afternoon matches against St Kilda and Melbourne at Adelaide Oval, with both starting at 2:50pm.
A Saturday night Showdown blockbuster will take place in Round 9, with Port Adelaide hosting the Crows from 7:10pm, while the second Showdown will be played in Round 20.
Port Adelaide will travel to Sydney, Ballarat, Perth, Canberra and Melbourne in the first part of the season, including an exciting Round 1 Saturday night fixture at the MCG against Collingwood.
Gather Round will feature a Semi-Final rematch between the Power and Hawthorn in the AFL’s new primetime Sunday night timeslot, while Port Adelaide once again hosts an Anzac Round game, and a Sir Doug Nicholls Round match-up in Round 10.
The Power will play Adelaide, Geelong, Sydney, Fremantle, Hawthorn and Carlton twice, and is confirmed to play six primetime night games, including a Thursday under lights against Essendon at Marvel Stadium.
Ten of the first 14 games can be watched live on both Fox and Channel 7, while the other four matches will be live on Fox, with Channel 7 broadcasting on delay.
Port Adelaide chief executive Matthew Richardson says the club’s members, fans and commercial partners should all be looking forward to 2025.

“Twilight and daytime timeslots on Saturdays and Sundays provide great access for our fans, in particular for families with children.
“Ten of our first 14 games are available live on free-to-air tv, which is a real positive for members and fans who are unable to attend, and it also provides good exposure for our commercial partners.
