PORT ADELAIDE has made a further change to its list ahead of the start of the AFLW trade period with defender Jasmine Simmons informed she will not be offered a contract for next season.

Simmons landed at Alberton ahead of the 2023 season as part of a trade, after playing eight games in two seasons with the Crows.

She played three games with Port Adelaide in her first season but failed to add to her games tally in 2024.

“Jasmine had a difficult season where she was unable to break into a relatively settled backline,” said List Manager Naomi Maidment.

“We’ve made the difficult decision to say farewell, which will give us more flexibility from a list management perspective ahead of the trade period and draft.

“We thank Jasmine for the time she put into our club and wish her well going forward.”

The AFLW trade period gets underway tomorrow and will run until Wednesday, 11 December.
