The Adelaide Hills will enjoy a dose of AFL pre-season action when Port Adelaide takes on Adelaide in a pre-season match simulation at Mt Barker’s Summit Sport and Recreation Park.

Taking place on Friday, 21 February from 5pm, the match sim is the perfect opportunity for the Adelaide Hills community to see Port Adelaide’s newest recruits in action.

It will be the first of two pre-season games for the Power, with the group set to travel to Melbourne to play St Kilda as part of the AAMI Community Series on Saturday, 1 March.

“To have the state’s two AFL men’s teams play in the Adelaide Hills for the first time at the SSRP is going to be huge, and we’re expecting thousands of city and country fans to come to Mount Barker and see the Crows and the Power battle,” Mount Barker District Council Mayor David Leach said.

“To help as many families as possible experience our unique Hills’ football festival atmosphere, and with household budgets under pressure, we’re keeping adult tickets at only $10 and offering free entry to children under 15.”

Port Adelaide members living in the Mount Barker district can register for access to a pre-sale via the Mt Barker District Council website.

All other members and supporters can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster from Friday 20 December at 9am. Tickets will be limited and subject to availability.
