Four Port Adelaide players have been selected to play for the AFL Indigenous All-Stars squad in an upcoming fixture against Fremantle.

Willie Rioli, Jase Burgoyne, Jeremy Finlayson and Jason Horne-Francis will travel to Perth for the special exhibition match, taking place on Saturday, 15 February at Optus Stadium.

The four inclusions are a testament to the depth of First Nations talent at Alberton, with the Power boasting a long and proud history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander footballers.

“I’m really excited to be selected to play in the Indigenous All Stars game,” Horne-Francis said.

“To have four boys included from Port Adelaide is great recognition for our club. It’s an honour to represent my culture on the football field, and to play alongside some of the most talented players in the league.”

On Friday, Port Adelaide development coach Jason Williams was announced as part of an all-Indigenous coaching panel for the All-Stars team.

Williams will assist Head Coach Xavier Clarke, with former Port Adelaide player Jarrod Lienert also named on the panel.

The last time the AFL hosted an Indigenous All-Stars fixture, Port Adelaide premiership player and All-Stars captain Shaun Burgoyne won the Polly Farmer Medal for best on ground.

Tickets for the Indigenous All-Stars game are on sale now, with prices starting at $10 for a junior under 15, and $35 for an adult, with family tickets (two adults and two juniors) only $70.
