SUPPORTERS will have the chance to get their first look at Port Adelaide’s SANFL side when it hosts Norwood in a pre-season trial match at Alberton on Sunday.

Hamish Hartlett’s side will be expecting a stern test against last season’s beaten Grand Finalist in the club’s first official hit-out for 2025.

The Magpies have recruited a host of new faces in the off-season including former Central District defender Jez McLennan, former North Melbourne VFL captain Jack Watkins and talented father-son Rome Burgoyne.

A team line-up will be announced following the selection of the AFL side for the Round 1 blockbuster against Collingwood.

The SANFL trial game gets underway at 2:20pm on Sunday as part of a triple-header at Alberton Oval with free entry for all patrons.

The day will get underway with the Crows taking on South Adelaide at 9:00am before the Panthers’ reserves take on Norwood’s reserves from 11:40am.

Gates open at 8:00am with the downstairs Sports Bar open from 10:00am for those seeking a morning coffee or cold beverage.

The Precinct at Alberton opens at 11:30am with bookings for lunch still available.
