PORT ADELAIDE has named an extended squad for Saturday’s SANFL game against Sturt with only one confirmed change.

Forward Jeremy Finlayson goes out of the team that went down to reigning premier Glenelg in the season opener last week after being called into the AFL line-up.

However, there are welcome reinforcements for the Magpies’ trip to Unley with defender Xavier Walsh returning from suspension, ruck Ivan Soldo named and SANFL-contracted players Cormack O’Reilly and Kye Roberts included.

Hamish Hartlett’s squad includes 12 AFL-listed players.

Given the AFL side will not be finalised until Friday afternoon, AFL emergencies have not been included in this SANFL line-up and are eligible to play against the Double Blues.

Saturday’s SANFL game gets underway at Unley at 2:10pm.
