Port Adelaide recruit Jez McLennan has been named in the 2025 SANFL state team, set to play against the VFL this Saturday.
The match will take place at Tanunda Recreation Park from 2:45pm.
McLennan joined Port Adelaide from Central District in October, taking the opportunity to play SANFL football within an AFL environment.
The 24-year-old earned the Fos Williams Medal on two occasions last year, awarded to the player adjudged best on ground in a state game.
McLennan finished with 24 disposals and eight marks in the SANFL’s win over the VFL in April and followed up with 25 disposals and seven marks in a 63-point thumping of the WAFL six weeks later.
Averaging 15.5 disposals in his first two games for the Magpies, McLennan has brought leadership and experience to a young side.
The game will be broadcast live on 7 Mate from 2:45pm.
