SOUTH ADELAIDE player Emmanuel Irra has been given permission to train with Port Adelaide by the AFL ahead of the upcoming draft period.
The 22-year-old Sacred Heart College graduate has played 38 league games with the Panthers.
Port Adelaide nominated Ugandan-born Irra as one of its Next Generation Academy players, which will mean the Power can select him as a Category B Rookie should he be available after the rookie draft.
The national draft takes place in Sydney on Friday 25 November with the rookie and pre-season drafts taking place the following week.
