JESSE PALMER could make his AFL debut against the Crows this weekend after being named in Port Adelaide's extended 25-man squad for Showdown XXXIX.
The 188cm forward has played every game of the SANFL season for Port Adelaide and has kicked 12 goals.
His form has been regularly praised by Magpies coach Garry Hocking, and earns him a position on the Power's extended bench.

He's been named on the bench along with other promotions Aaron Young, Andrew Moore and Nathan Krakouer.

Several Magpies are poised to fly for the first time against league-leaders Woodville-West Torrens on Saturday afternoon at Oval Avenue.
Defender Ciaran Hollingworth-Hughes from West Whyalla and Sean Davidson (North Haven) have been named in the Magpies' 23-man team to face the Eagles.
Luke Reynolds is also set to play his first game back at Alberton since returning from Carlton's rookie list, while Jonathon Ross, Jack Haarsma and Mitch Harvey also come into the squad.
