PORT ADELAIDE has made four changes for its blockbuster clash with Geelong at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
Co-captain Ollie Wines is set to make his return to the Port line-up after two strong performances in the SANFL, since returning from injury.
Wines collected 32 disposals against Sturt in his first outing back for the Magpies, before a best-on-ground performance against Norwood where he had 38 touches and kicked a goal.
Key Forward Charlie Dixon is set to make his long-awaited return to senior football for the Power, after breaking his leg and damaging his ankle in Round 21, 2018.
Dixon has booted eight goals in his two SANFL appearances, and has looked imposing in the forward half of the ground.
Brad Ebert is also set to make his return to the AFL after missing six weeks with concussion.
Ebert made his return to football last weekend in Port’s 45-point victory over the Redlegs in the SANFL, collecting 22 disposals.
Joel Garner is the other inclusion to face the Cats on Saturday night, where he will play his second career game.
Garner was impressive in his AFL debut against Gold Coast, gathering 13 possessions, five marks and two tackles in Port’s 38-point win.
Justin Westhoff, Paddy Ryder, Sam Powell-Pepper and Jarrod Lienert are the four players who have been omitted for the match with the Cats.
Powell-Pepper, Willem Drew, Peter Ladhams and Lienert are the four emergencies.
The Magpies don’t play this weekend due to the split round bye.
