HAMISH HARTLETT will cop at least a $1000 whack to the hip pocket after being charged by the AFL Match Review Panel for striking Hawthorn's Jarryd Roughead on Sunday.
Hartlett's charge sheet showed a careless strike of low impact to Roughead's body, drawing a $1500 sanction, which will reduce with an early plea.
He will be free to play Sydney in Round 1, with Nathan Krakouer the only Power player currently suspended by the MRP.
Port takes on the Swans at the SCG on Saturday 25 March.
