PORT ADELAIDE pair Billy Frampton and Aidyn Johnson have both been handed two-game bans from the SANFL Match Review Panel for incidents that occurred in Sunday afternoon’s four-point win over Glenelg.
Frampton was cited for striking Glenelg’s Chris Curran in the opening half, and can accept a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea. The key forward was also cited for striking Will Gould, but can accept a $200 financial sanction with the early plea.
Johnson can accept a one-match ban for his strike on Curran, which also took place in the first half of the second semi final.
If the players accept the one-game ban with an early plea, they will both be unavailable for the 2019 Statewide Super League Grand Final.
The club will make a decision whether to challenge the reports tomorrow.
