GOLD COAST suffered a heart-breaking last-second loss to Melbourne last weekend, and will look to bounce back when they face Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
It appears Sean Lemmens won’t make the trip to Adelaide after the crafty forward re-injured his ankle against the Demons.
Will Brodie and Jesse Joyce were named in the best for Gold Coast’s NEAFL side, while last year’s no.6 draft pick Ben King kicked three goals against Aspley.
Former Power player Aaron Young will have to get through the main training session if he is to be considered for selection, as will Brayden Fiorini after both suffered knee complaints in recent weeks.
The Suns currently sit 14th on the ladder with a 3-5 record but it could be vastly different for the young side who have suffered two one-point losses in the first eight rounds.
Port host the Suns on Sunday at 12.40pm ACST with kids in free.
