Lactalis Australia have informed Port Adelaide they will not be continuing their five-year sponsorship as Joint Major Partner beyond the 2019 season.
Through their OAK and OAK Plus brands, Lactalis Australia commenced their valued partnership with Port Adelaide as a Premier Partner in 2015 and within two years became the club’s Joint Major Partner.
Port Adelaide chief executive Keith Thomas thanked Lactalis Australia for their outstanding support since 2015.
“On behalf of the Port Adelaide community we thank the team behind OAK, Australia’s Favourite Flavoured Milk, for partnering the club since 2015,” Mr Thomas said.
“Our partnership has been built upon shared values based on innovation, challenging the norm and of course, a focus on community.
“One of my fondest memories of our partnership was the BOAK milk campaign. OAK flavoured milk cartons adopted the surname of Travis, our captain at the time, to raise over $20,000 for the Childhood Cancer Association”.
Along with Joint Major Partnership of our club, Lactalis have supported the Power Intercultural Program from 2017 to 2019. This program is designed to celebrate the vibrancy of cultural diversity and expression in Australia, and promote inclusion and build social cohesion by recognising the positive contribution of different cultures.
Lactalis Australia through their market leading OAK Plus dairy protein beverage has powered players from both Port Adelaide’s AFL and SANFL teams. OAK Plus has been extensively used by our club dietitian in aiding muscle recovery after training and games for the playing group.
“We have certainly enjoyed a wonderful partnership with Lactalis Australia across the last five years. Once again, we thank the team for their support and commitment to our Club since 2015, and wish them well moving forward.”
