PADDY RYDER and Jasper Pittard are set to make their returns from injury when Port Adelaide take on West Coast at Optus Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Ryder, who has been sidelined with Achilles tendonitis since the Power’s Round 1 clash with Fremantle, comes back into the side after training strongly in recent weeks.
Pittard will also make the trip west to face the Eagles, after two strong performances for the Magpies in the SANFL.
The rebounding defender suffered a hamstring strain in Port’s JLT Community Series match against the Crows at
Chad Wingard (hamstring) and Tom Clurey (omitted) are the two exclusions from the team that beat North Melbourne by 33 points in Round 6.
The Round 7 clash with the Eagles at Optus Stadium commences at 4.05pm (ASCT).
Darcy Ginever, son of Port Adelaide great Tim, will make his Magpies’ debut on Friday night against Norwood after impressing in the reserves this season.
