Get to AAMI early
Avoid the queues! All information here on collecting and buying tickets for Thursday night's season opener.
In particular, the Power is encouraging Power Game-Day Members who need to collect their ticket before the game to get to the ground early. The Power’s Customer Relations Team will be at the Planet Teal Zone, located near AAMI Stadium Gate 3 from 5.30pm.
The club is also encouraging supporters to purchase their daily tickets from BASS prior to the game, rather than from the gates at AAMI Stadium.
“Last year we had some of our members and supporters who arrived close to the first bounce in queues for a period of time and we’re keen to ensure it’s a fun and smooth process for them this year,” Power chief executive John James said.
“There’s a lot of excitement around the game, and we’re saying get to the game early if you are a Game-Day Member collecting your tickets.
“For supporters buying a daily ticket, we would encourage people to get to the ground early or preferably buy your ticket from BASS in advance.”
The Power is still selling 2008 Game-Day Memberships, the most cost effective way of supporting the club and seeing every game at AAMI Stadium. Game-Day Members who purchase their membership between now and the game will be able to collect a temporary ticket from Planet Teal Zone near Gate 3.
Tickets for the game are currently being sold through BASS outlets, BASS dial ‘n charge 13 12 46 or bass.net.au. Supporters can also print their daily ticket at home or work to save collecting them on the night.
AAMI Stadium car parks open at 5.45pm. AAMI Stadium gates open at 6.15pm. The Power’s Round 1 clash begins at 8.15pm.
Thursday night will be the first time fans can enjoy the SA Lotteries Footy Express and the Power wishes to advise those people who don’t have their ticket or membership before they get to the ground, that they will still gain access to the bus.
Power Game-Day Memberships start from $170 for adults, $380 for a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children (under 15), and $40 Planet Teal Membership (under 15), which for the first time includes all 11 home games.
