Gray - One of the only clear winners we had out on the park and Robbie was as impressive as ever. The way he can read the taps and get those clean clearances from the stoppages is as good as anyone over the last decade. His stats were very impressive. 10 tackles, 10 clearances, 17 contested possessions and a goal. He did everything he could to get Port Adelaide over the line. His work rate can't be questioned. Just needs some support.
Hombsch - Jack is having a great season and his effort today followed on from his form this year. Daniel McStay kicked 4 last week and has been fairly consistent all year, but Jack kept him to just the 2 disposals and no influence on the result at all. Provided us with some strong rebound and used it well. Can hold his head high.
Monfries - Looked very dangerous early with some hard running and good movement across the forward line. Had a great third quarter with two goals that should have seen us get back in the game. Has had a good season even though he hasn't been hitting the scoreboard as often as he has in the past. His lead up work across half forward has been very good.
Wingard - Had a great first half playing mostly through the midfield before going forward and looking constantly dangerous in the forward 50, just without the execution to finish. Some great instinct gives in close. Just needed to slot a couple more goals.
Ryder - Really liked his ruck work and thought he looked like he could tear the game open up forward during the third quarter, but like Chad just couldnt put his chances on the scoreboard. Still, despite that, he was in our best players and is working hard to have an impact.
