DUSTIN MARTIN has dominated the votes to take out the 2017 Brownlow Medal in Melbourne tonight.

With 36 votes, the Richmond powerhouse led home Hawk Tom Mitchell (25) and Sydney's Josh Kennedy (23). 

Ollie Wines polled best for the Power for the first time in his career. 

The Power vice-captain polled 18 votes from seven games in a strong showing for the inside midfielder.

He was followed by Brad Ebert (15 votes from five games) and Robbie Gray (12 from seven).

While Port's stars were well behind the front runners on the night, the club didn't go home empty-handed, with Jack Hombsch awarded the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award.
