CHAD Wingard is set to undergo scans after injuring his ankle in Port Adelaide’s game against Melbourne on Saturday.
Wingard came off the field late in the third term after knocking his left ankle in a contest.
Port Adelaide Head of Athletic Development Ian McKeown said further assessment was needed to determine the extent of the injury.
“It looks as though Chad may have sprained his left ankle,” he told Portadelaidefc.com.au after the game.
“He’ll undergo a post-game medical assessment and scans in the coming days to determine a course of action.”
