THE 2019 Telstra AFL Trade Period concluded on Wednesday evening with a number of players switching teams, and a couple of big names remaining with their club.
Port Adelaide was less active in the trade period this season - compared to the last two - but were able to add another 2019 first round draft pick to its arsenal.
The Power traded tall duo Paddy Ryder and Dougal Howard to St Kilda for pick 18, while they swapped their pick 10 to 12 with the Saints as part of the deal, and received a future round three selection.
Forward Billy Frampton was also traded to crosstown rival Adelaide in exchange for a future fourth round draft pick.

In other news around the league, Essendon key forward Joe Daniher will remain at Essendon after a deal with Sydney could not be achieved.
Swans small forward Tom Papley couldn’t find his way to Carlton after requesting a trade, and will remain in the red and white in 2020.
Geelong star Tim Kelly found his way home to West Coast, while Brad Hill made the move from Perth to Melbourne to join the Saints.
Key forwards Jonathon Patton (Hawthorn) and Josh Jenkins (Geelong) found new homes for next season, while veterans Eddie Betts (Carlton) and Grant Birchall (Brisbane) will also suit up in different colours next year.
In total, 27 players found new homes in the 2019 Telstra AFL Trade Period.
