Four-year absence on the Gold Coast:
The Round 1 clash with Gold Coast will be the first time Port Adelaide has played the Suns at Metricon Stadium since 2016.
In the last four encounters between the two sides have either been played at Adelaide Oval or Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai.
The Power has never lost to Gold Coast in Queensland - winning all five games at Metricon by an average margin of 31 points.
AFL side back in the prison bars:
Port Adelaide will host cross-town rivals Adelaide in Showdown XLVIII in Round 2 with its prison bar guernsey taking centre stage.
The last time Port Adelaide wore its famous jumper in the AFL, it kicked the opening seven goals of the 2014 Elimination Final against Richmond before eventually running out 57-point victors.
An AFL-first Good Friday game in SA:
Last year the Power travelled to Perth to play the Eagles at Optus Stadium for its first-ever Good Friday fixture.
The Power upset the reigning premiers by 42 points in wet conditions in the west, with Ollie Wines dominating with 35 touches and a goal.
In 2020, Port Adelaide will host the Eagles on Friday April 20 at 7.20pm at Adelaide Oval in the Round 4 Easter clash.
ANZAC Round tradition continues:
Port Adelaide will once again host an ANZAC Round clash in 2020, with the Western Bulldogs making the trip to Adelaide Oval.
The last time the two sides met on ANZAC Day, the Power triumphed by 55 points at Football Park in its premiership year in 2004.
The birthday blues:
Port Adelaide will get another opportunity to celebrate its rich history when it faces Carlton at Adelaide Oval in Round 7.
The club will be celebrating its 150th birthday against the Blues - the team it defeated to be named the 1914 Champions of Australia - by wearing its first-ever guernsey.
Port Adelaide will don the light blue and white hoops for the clash.
Friday night lights:
Port Adelaide will host Hawthorn at Adelaide Oval in the second of its two Friday night clashes in 2020.
The two sides have met on a Friday night on three occasions in their history, with Port holding a 2-1 head-to-head record.
Port Adelaide has hosted each of those fixtures.
A fixture quirk:
Port Adelaide will play the Crows twice by Round 13 before it has its first meeting with Geelong, Fremantle, Richmond, Sydney, Essendon and Greater Western Sydney.
