TOM CORCORAN will make his league debut against Norwood on Thursday night.
Last year's Academy best-and-fairest was offered a senior contract during the off-season and will line-up in the Magpies opening match of the 2016 SANFL League season.
He's not the only one making an official debut, with Chad Cornes to take the helm of Port Adelaide in the state league for the first time.
The Magpies and Redlegs are the old rivals of South Australian football and Thursday's game is sure to be another classic encounter.
Port Adelaide's squad is likely to change as a selection of other AFL-listed players will move from the Power's squad once it is named later on Thursday.
Those players will run out for the Magpies against the Redlegs, with the two uncontracted league players named on the extended bench to play in the Academy.
Action at the Parade gets under way when Mark Clayton's Academy team kicks off proceedings at 4.55pm, followed by the league clash at 7.40pm.

Tickets for entry to Thursday's SANFL game are $14 general admission, $8 concession and children Under-18 free. Port Adelaide will have a membership marquee for members yet to receive their Magpies membership card at Norwood Oval.
Port Adelaide also hosts St Kilda in AFL Opening Round on Easter Sunday, March 27 at 2:50pm (ACDT).
