VICTIMS of recent bushfires in South Australia will be given the opportunity to see Port Adelaide play Melbourne in the NAB Challenge for free.
The Power’s second NAB Challenge match for the year will be played at Elizabeth Oval, with the AFL providing an allocation of tickets to local councils of areas affected by recent bushfires, which will then be distributed to their communities.
The recent Pinery bushfires burned through more than 85,000 hectares of land at the end of 2015 with thousands of livestock killed and more than 300 buildings razed north of Adelaide.
The fire area is just minutes from where the Power will host the Demons in Elizabeth.
The Clare and Gilbert Valley Council will provide tickets to those directly affected by the fires, as well as those who provided assistance during the burn.
