HAMISH Hartlett's minor groin issue is not expected to keep him out of action for long, however Port Adelaide's medical team will still submit the midfielder for a precautionary scan on Tuesday.
Hartlett looked in fine form early on Sunday afternoon with his elite kick on display in one particularly neat passage of play.
But he was soon substituted from the match while gingerly nursing his groin, and would sit out the last three quarters of the Power's 40-point win.
However the midfield mainstay was upbeat in the Power's rooms after the game and any injury sustained is expected to be minor.
The Power anticipates scans to show a minor tweak to scar tissue in Hartlett's groin, which would have caused him discomfort during the game.
Acting senior coach Matthew Nicks expects Hartlett to be back in the mix quickly.
"He seems to think he won't be out of the game for long," Nicks said of Hartlett after the game.
"[It's] just a little tweak to the scar tissue [of his groin]."
No other injuries were reported from the Power's win over West Coast, ahead of next week's game against Richmond in Lavington, New South Wales.
