portadelaidefc.com.au takes a look at who’s in the mix to play in the Power’s clash against Sydney at the SCG this Saturday.
Port Adelaide
While the Power celebrated a dominant 94-point win over the Lions in Round 19, competition for spots in the top side remains rife with several players pushing their case for AFL selection.
Hamish Hartlett was a late withdrawal from the Brisbane clash, and will sit out for another few weeks. The vice-captain was replaced by Jimmy Toumpas, who may retain his place in the midfield to face the Swans.
Kane Mitchell could be another option for the Power’s midfield after leading disposals for the Magpies on the weekend with 28 touches, 6 clearances and 11 contested possessions.
Unforced changes up forward could come from for veteran forward Jay Schulz, who collected three goals in the SANFL on Sunday – while livewire Jake Neade and speedster Matt White also put on strong displays. All three will be pushing for an AFL return in the coming weeks.

Sydney Swans
All eyes will be on midfielder Jake Lloyd in the Sydney camp this week as the midfielder is monitored while recovering from a concussion.
Lloyd collided with Fremantle’s Zac Dawson in the final term of their Round 19 clash and didn’t return to the field for the remainder of the game.
Sydney’s general manager of football Tom Harley said it’s too early to make a call on his fitness, but he’ll be given every chance to face the Power.
If he’s not cleared to play, the Swans will face one forced change to the side which claimed Sydney’s biggest ever win over the Dockers last week.
