OLLIE Wines has capped a solid 2016 season being named in the AFLPA 22Under22 team.
It's the second consecutive year Wines has been named in the fan-voted team, which recognises the 22 best players in the AFL under the age of 22.
Wines played all 22 games for the Power, averaging 26 disposals and six clearances per game, and also finishing runner-up in the John Cahill Medal to three-time winner Robbie Gray.
The midfielder, who was elevated to the leadership group in 2016, stormed home to finish the year in near career-best form after Ken Hinkley revealed a mid-year discussion with Wines where the 21-year-old was nearly dropped.
