THE Childhood Cancer Association is Port Adelaide’s official charity partner for Friday's clash between the Power and Tigers at Adelaide Oval.
The Childhood Cancer Association is one of Australia's key childhood cancer support organisations, Port Adelaide's official charity partner, and is dedicated to helping children living with cancer and their families.
Since its establishment in 1982 by a group of parents with children living with cancer, the Childhood Cancer Association has been supporting families from South Australia, Northern Territory and country Victoria and New South Wales.
These support services include professional counselling, daily hospital visits, sibling support, accommodation for country and interstate families, respite accommodation, financial assistance, education support and bereavement support.
The Childhood Cancer Association relies solely on the generous support of the community to enable it to continue to provide vital services and support to families in need.
Volunteers will be collecting donations outside the gates at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
Port Adelaide plays Richmond on Friday 1 July at 7.20pm at the Adelaide Oval.
