PAUL STEWART will be available next weekend despite a mid-game scare in the Power's 61-point win over Essendon.

Stewart copped a kick to his ankle, which led to him being aided from the field during the third term.

But with the Power's medical team describing the incident as a 'stinger' to his foot, it was no surprise that Stewart was walking the boundary within a matter of minutes.

It's good news for the Power, which had already suffered the loss of Chad Wingard (hamstring) and Alipate Carlile (wrist) leading into the game.

Hamish Hartlett and Jay Schulz also missed the game with injuries sustained before the Showdown.

portadelaidefc.com.au will have a full injury update on Monday.
