SUMMARY
Both teams had long trips and big wins last week but the SCG hasn't been a great venue for the Power in recent times, so they'll be keen to perform while they're still an extremely slim chance of making the finals. Two of the game's most damaging midfielders in Luke Parker and Robbie Gray could find themselves in an old fashioned shoot out, and Port coach Ken Hinkley will no doubt have a plan for Josh Kennedy and Dan Hannebery, who shared 86 disposals and four goals against Fremantle last week. Swans defender Nick Smith will have another big job on the brilliant Chad Wingard, while at the other end, Port youngster Logan Austin could get first crack at Lance Franklin, who has booted 13 goals in his last four games at home.

THE SIX POINTS
1. When these teams last played Swans midfielder Josh Kennedy was the difference, with 33 disposals, two goals and eight tackles. Lance Franklin and Kurt Tippett were both missing through injury.
2. The Swans defence remains the best in the competition, conceding only 69 points per game, while the Power kicked 25.23 (173) against the Brisbane Lions last week, their highest score since 2005.
3. Port Adelaide and the Swans clash for the 27th time and the home side holds a big advantage, winning 19 games to seven, including 12 of the last 13.
4. It will be a contest between two of the best tackling sides in 2016; the Swans are ranked first with 82.1 per game, while Port are third with an average of 77.2.
5. The Swans have dominated Port Adelaide at the SCG, winning 10 of 13 contests; the Power hasn’t won at the SCG since round two, 2006.
6. Star Swan ball magnet Josh Kennedy has jumped to number four in the Schick Official Player Ratings after his three goals and 45 possessions against Fremantle, after starting the season in 10th. It's his highest ranking since round 14, 2013.
IT’S A BIG WEEK FOR … Justin Westhoff
The Power swingman dragged in 10 marks and kicked two goals against the Lions last week and must give his side a strong presence inside 50, but it won't be easy against the best defence in the competition. If Port is to break a four-game losing streak against the Swans, Westhoff must have a massive influence.
