MARCH from the Mall will take a special route this Saturday in light of ANZAC Day Round.
The sea of black, white and teal will march along Kintore Avenue at the new ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk, to pay respect to those who have served their country.
Port Adelaide’s membership manager Ben Demertzis said they're expecting a big turnout for the march on Saturday before the Geelong clash.
“This weekend’s march will hold special significance for Port Adelaide supporters in what we expect to be one of our biggest ever marches,” he told portadelaidefc.com.au.
“To add to the club’s commemorative ANZAC Day Round proceedings, our people will take a different route, marching along an ANZAC memorial walk to honour those men and women who have sacrificed so much.
“Military drummers will also lead the march of 10,000 people down the new memorial…it’s going to be really special.”
The march will meet at the Gawler Place Canopy at 5.30pm, for a 5.55pm departure.
Route: Gawler Place, over North Terrace, Kintore Ave, ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk, Adelaide Oval.
